| Blessings & Needs |
We are so blessed to have Don Moline on board with us now. His fun-loving attitude motivated the groups to work hard for the Lord and his quiet leadership helped to equip them well! Don stepped out in faith to follow the Lord and work with MI. A few have begun to support his salary. However, we need to be honest and tell you that we are a long way from covering that salary. We know that God has more than enough - because He owns it all. Would you consider being part of the individuals & churches that will begin to support Don's work with MI?

| Summer '07 Week # 1 |
North Liberty CC once again began the season for us by hosting our first week of the summer, June 10-16th. It is amazing how a church like this opens their doors to us and pretty much gives us free reign. We value our church partners and want to publicly thank all the good folks at North Liberty.

This picture shows Eryn Britt leading one of the church groups to see the MI shower trailer, where they take all their showers for the week. There are four showers on one side for girls and three on the other side for boys.
After Check-In the groups eat their first meal with MI.
Here the groups participate in evening ice-breaker games to get to know each other.
After breakfast and Power Up time on Monday morning, the groups were led through a mini-training session. In the next photo, Shannon Robinson shows the participants basic painting and clean-up skills.
Five other stations made up the training course including this one on the use of hammers and nail pullers led by Nick Wilkes.
Groups from Grace Missionary Church- Celina, OH, Rocklane CC - Greenwood, IN, Mt. Tabor CC - Salem, IN and Connection Pointe CC - Brownsburg made up our participants for the week.
Various projects were worked on during the week. Some exterior scraping and painting was done.
This group had fun demolishing the wall in front of them.
A 4-day VBS was led by two groups with Englewood CC.

| Urban Ministry Institute |
Please join us in prayer for the continued growth and impact of the Urban Ministry Institute. God willing, a full residential program will be offered beginning in the Fall '07. The vision for this institute is to prepare and train students from three different perspectives or tiers; namely, Graduate Students, Undergraduate Students, and students from local church leadership and laity (Non-Credit).
The first course for Fall '07 is
"The Church in the City: An introduction to asset-building and community development"
taught by Dr. Richard White from Portland State University.
The second course
"Ethnic Relations in Urban Ministry"
will be taught by Dr. James Lewis from Anderson School of Theology.
The third course
"A Theology for the Urban Context"
will be taught by Dr. Michael Pabarcus from St. Louis CC.
The fourth course
"Strategies, Methods and Models of Urban Mission"
will be taught by Dr. Robert Douglas of Lincoln Christian Seminary.
In addition, seminary students who come to spend a semester or year here in Indianapolis, can get an additional three to six hours of Supervised Ministry working alongside current church and ministry leaders that we partner with.
Many of you may be interested or know someone who is. You cannot beat the price and the quality of education! Call the office today at 423-3505 to sign up.
We need your help to promote this Institute to our churches and to local students. Would you consider being a contact person at your church to make announcements, talk to people and keep brochures available for those that may express interest.
Please call Ron if you can help!
