Certain programs and events require payment of registration fees, deposits, or other charges.

5.1 Payment Obligations

All applicable fees, deposit amounts, payment deadlines, and payment instructions will be communicated during registration or in the applicable program materials.

By submitting a registration that requires payment, you agree to pay the disclosed amounts according to the stated payment schedule.

If a registration requires a deposit and a remaining balance, the applicable amounts and due dates will be disclosed before or during registration. Any outstanding balance must be paid by the stated deadline.

5.2 Non-Refundable Deposits

Where clearly disclosed before payment, deposits may be designated as non-refundable. By submitting payment for a registration with a disclosed non-refundable deposit, you acknowledge and agree to that condition, subject to applicable law and any applicable program-specific cancellation policy.

5.3 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation, withdrawal, refund, and transfer requests will be handled according to the refund and cancellation policy disclosed for the applicable program or event.

Unless otherwise stated in that policy or required by law, payment does not guarantee a refund if a participant withdraws, fails to attend, or is unable to participate.

If Mission Indy cancels, postpones, or materially changes a program or event, any available refund, credit, or alternative arrangement will be handled according to the applicable program policy and applicable law.

Mission Indy should publish or provide a separate, clearly accessible cancellation and refund policy before accepting payments. These Terms do not establish a refund entitlement or exception that has not otherwise been approved and disclosed.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms, conditions, and privacy practices.

Mission Indy does not intentionally collect or store full payment card details through the Website unless specifically disclosed. Payment processing practices will be described in the Privacy Policy, as applicable.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any donor rights provided by applicable law.

7. Internship Applications and Opportunities

The Website may provide information about Mission Indy internships and allow individuals to submit applications.

Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, acceptance, placement, compensation, or continued participation in an internship program.

Internship opportunities may have separate eligibility criteria, application requirements, compensation arrangements, schedules, duties, and program expectations. Those details will be provided through the applicable application materials or separate written agreement.

Applicants agree to provide truthful and accurate information. Any offer, placement, or employment relationship will be governed by the applicable offer documents and agreements, together with applicable law.

These Website Terms do not create an employment relationship or guarantee a particular internship outcome.

8. Participant Conduct and Program Requirements

Participation in Mission Indy programs, events, and ministry activities may require compliance with separate participant guidelines, conduct standards, safety rules, and other program requirements.

Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and comply with applicable instructions and policies established for the program or activity.

Mission Indy may take appropriate action in response to conduct that violates applicable program requirements or creates a safety, operational, or other legitimate concern. Such action may include restricting participation or removing an individual from a program, subject to applicable agreements and law.

Additional rules concerning supervision, transportation, lodging, safety, or other program activities may be provided in separate participant documents.

9. Assumption of Risk and Liability

Certain Mission Indy programs and activities may involve physical activity, travel, community service, interactions with members of the public, or other circumstances that carry inherent risks.

Participants should carefully review the information and requirements provided for each program or activity. Where required, participants must complete separate waivers, releases, acknowledgments of risk, medical forms, or parental or guardian consent documents before participating.

Use of this Website or acceptance of these Terms alone does not constitute a separate participant liability waiver or substitute for any required signed release or consent form.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mission Indy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability where such a limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

10. Photographs, Videos, and Media

Mission Indy may photograph, record, or otherwise document certain programs and events for ministry communications, educational materials, promotional purposes, and other organizational activities.

Any use of an identifiable participant's image, likeness, voice, or other personal media will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any applicable consent or release requirements.

Where a separate media release is required, Mission Indy will obtain the appropriate authorization before using the participant's media for the purposes covered by that release.

Participation in a program does not, by itself, constitute consent to every possible use of a participant's image or recording.

Parents or legal guardians must provide any legally required authorization for the use of a minor's image or recording.

Questions about media use or requests relating to an existing authorization may be directed to [Insert Media Contact Email].

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its contents, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, designs, and other materials, are owned by Mission Indy or used with permission.

These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use Website content for personal, informational, and noncommercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder, except as permitted by law.

The Mission Indy name, logo, and other identifying marks may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or authorization without permission.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, registration platforms, payment processors, partner ministries, or other external services.

These third parties operate independently of Mission Indy and may have their own terms, policies, and practices.

Mission Indy does not control all third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. The inclusion of a link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

You are responsible for reviewing the applicable terms and policies before using a third-party service.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

Your use of the Website may involve the collection and processing of personal information, including information submitted through registration forms, internship applications, donation pages, and event registration services.

Mission Indy's collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are addressed in the separate Privacy Policy, available at [Insert Privacy Policy URL].

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how your information is handled.

If you submit information about another individual, including a minor, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to provide that information and that any legally required consent has been obtained.

14. Website Availability and Accuracy

Mission Indy strives to provide useful and accurate information through the Website. However, information may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or subject to change.

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Mission Indy does not guarantee uninterrupted Website availability, error-free operation, or that all information will always be current or complete.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Website features or content as needed, subject to applicable law and any separate contractual obligations.

Nothing in this section limits any express commitment made in a separate written agreement.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Website, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision does not apply to the extent a claim arises from Mission Indy's own conduct or where imposing such responsibility would be prohibited by law.

Any indemnification obligations relating to program participation, group registrations, or other activities must be addressed in the applicable separate agreement where appropriate.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any legal action arising from these Terms or the use of the Website shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in [Insert Appropriate Indiana County], Indiana, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

17. Changes to These Terms

Mission Indy may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its Website, programs, operations, or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, changes will take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

Where applicable law requires affirmative consent or additional notice, Mission Indy will provide it.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law, where legally permitted.

19. No Waiver

Failure by Mission Indy to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

Any waiver must be made in accordance with applicable law.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms govern your general use of the Website. They do not replace any separate written agreement governing a specific program, internship, event, donation arrangement, or participant activity.

Where applicable, additional agreements will govern the matters addressed in those documents. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override a separate agreement where that agreement expressly provides otherwise.
